Jobs and Skills Australia is required to prepare annual work plans that set out our key outcomes and priorities for each financial year (see section 10A of the Jobs and Skills Australia Act 2022).

Our annual work plans are focused on providing high-quality advice to underpin Australia’s response to current, emerging and future workforce, skills and training needs.

In preparing our work plan for 2025-26, Jobs and Skills Australia’s Commissioner must invite public submissions. Engagement is central to the way we deliver our vision and legislated functions. This includes the approach used for developing our annual work plan.
