The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). The Privacy Act regulates how we may collect, use, disclose and store personal information.

In this consultation we may collect personal information about you, including your name, contact details and location, the organisation you represent (if any) and the comments or feedback you provide. We may also collect sensitive information about you. Sensitive information we may collect includes information about your racial or ethnic origin or membership of associations or unions, or information or opinions about your political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs.
Your personal information is collected for the purpose of obtaining your views in relation to the PALM scheme deed and guidelines, including considering matters raised and seeking further feedback where appropriate and for research and evaluation related to the PALM scheme.
Your personal information may be shared with relevant Australian Ministers and other Australian Government agencies involved in the review of the PALM scheme deed and guidelines to allow them to consider your comments and feedback.
We will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information without your consent, except where authorised or required by law.
